Donut Apples

Ingredients

  • 3 apples
  • peanut butter
  • chocolate spread or melted chocolate
  • plain or vanilla yogurt
  • rainbow sprinkles
  • white sprinkles
  • vegan chocolate chips
  • blueberries
  • raspberries
  • pecans

Preparation

  1. Cut off the top and bottom from each apple, and then slice apples into ½ inch slices. Cut small circles out of middle of each apple slice to make a donut shape. I used a metal tsp spoon to make the circle and then a knife when needed. 
  2. Top each donut apple with either peanut butter, chocolate spread or melted chocolate, and yogurt. Spread well. 
  3. Top each donut apple with toppings such as sprinkles, chocolate chips, blueberries, raspberries, and pecans. Note that if you use melted chocolate, then you need to put the toppings on right away.
