Nashville Hot Chicken Sausage Veggie Skillet

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil 
  • al fresco Nashville hot chicken sausages, cut into coins
  • 1 red bell pepper, cut
  • 1 green bell pepper, cut
  • 1 broccoli crown, cut
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut into coins
  • salt & pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Cut the chicken sausage into coins, and chop the veggies. 
  2. Over medium heat, add olive oil to a large pan/skillet. Add the chicken sausage to the pan. Cook until the sausage is crispy & slightly browned.
  3. Add the chopped onion. Stir and cook. Add the bell peppers, and then broccoli and zucchini. Continue to stir and cook until the veggies are tender. This should take about 5 minutes. 
  4. Sprinkle salt & pepper all over. Stir to combine. Serve warm. Can store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge.
