Pretzel Blondie Brownie Bars

Ingredients

FOR THE BROWNIES:

  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup GF all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt

FOR THE COOKIE DOUGH:

  • 2 ¼ cup GF all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 oz chocolate chips

FOR THE MIX-INS:

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line pan with non-stick aluminum foil. I used an 8x8 inch glass pan.
  2. Make the brownie batter. In a large bowl, combine the butter, sugar, eggs, and pure vanilla extract. Add in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix together
  3. Make the cookie dough. Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, & vanilla extract in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time. Gradually add flour mixture, and beat until well-blended. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Break up a few of each of the four pretzels flavors.
  5. In a pan, pour the brownie batter evenly.
  6. Then add some of the broken-up pretzels on top of the brownie batter.
  7. Next, add the chocolate chip cookie dough evenly, and then add more of the broken-up pretzels on top of this layer.
  8. Bake for 40 minutes or until lightly browned.
